I use smiting, healing, and 1 domination currently. I use the signet, smite, conjure phantasm, healing breeze, heal party, restore life, mending, and heal other.

the biggest question is what you want to do. is this for pve or pvp etc etc.

a solid general heal build uses healing prayers, divine favor and inspiration.

remove hex or inspired hex (inspired will give you mana return, but has a much longer cooldown)
healing touch (with high divine favor this skill is obscene. 5 mana fast cast fast recycle 200+ heal? yes please)
energy tap (some people dont like it with its 3 second cast time, but i use it a lot. another good choice here can be drain enchantment, also has a good mana return and casts faster, but is more situational for obvious reasons)
divine boon! (learn it, live it, love it.)
mend condition/ailment (whichever you find suits your playstyle better. one can be used on yourself, one cant)
orison of healing (your basic heal, 5 mana fast recast etc, will land for 180ish with divine boon and good divine favor skill)
mantra of recall (double your mana investment every 20 seconds. with 10 inspiration it costs 15 and gives you 28 back. one of my favorites, and makes a decent cover enchantment if youre getting shattered a lot)
good ol res sig.

thats a general healer build that doesnt incorperate protection into the mix. its solid and pretty versatile with both condition and hex removal as well as good cheap heals. depending on the environment you play in you might consider channeling as a good energy management source.

You'd think that Channeling is a useful skill. Maybe not so much in Pvp. But if I had a Mo/Me I would try to figure out a way to use Channeling in my build.

I agree that for mes as a secondary Use inspirations. That mana regained helps a lot. As for the rest it really depends on what you want to do. Smite, Heal, Protect. With my level 18 Smite monk I can solo my way to temple of ages...

If u are a focused player, and i mean that u can keep ur mind to ur enchants, and skill recharges, there is a Mo-Me build that has worked pretty nice.

It works for healer or protector.

The key is high divine favor, a nice Energy pool (42-44 is cool), and using maintained enchantments.

6-7 enchantments do the trick.

U cast ur enchantments to ur targets.. wich ones i leave to u to choose acording the situation. All must be mantained (Energy Degen)

Blessed Signet will be ur "manual" energy regen (Gives u 3 energy per enchantment mantained. With Divine favor 12 u get a max 20)

Mantra of inscriptions "All ur signet rings recharge faster upt ot 45%" Wich brings the slow recharge of the blessed to almost half.

U be constantly casting the signet to keep ur energy up.

Play with this skills a bit and u'll see what i mean.

I've managed to cast healing speels also while mantaining 6-7 enchants at the same time.

and i've managed with a great deal of effort, and a nice group, to mantain 10 enchantments (Vitall Blessing of 167 in all party and mending of 3 in the 2 tanks) for 2 hours.

actually channeling is a useful skill in pvp. In times where theres a big cluster of ppl such as on an alter match or against a spirit spamming group, you can spam 10energy spells and get instant full energy back continually. It also is a passive skill that remains in effect for quite a while so you can focus on healing and not casting a nonheal spell many times over.

I am rethinking my Monk/Mesmer as I post this. Just received my first elite skill "Aura of Faith". Might have to put that in the build. The multiple enchantments intrigues me but one boss monster that can cast remove enchantments really screws up the purpose of the build.

That said.......I REALLY do like the notion of that build.

I have started playing the monk/mesmer build for pve and i realy enjoy conjour fantasm, but most of the suggestions every one has made are for insperation magic. I want to put points towards devine, healing and smiting for the monk asspect( with only a little in smite) but which mesmer ability should i throw point on(I dont want my points spred out more than they are already).
